About This Project

The existing epoxy floor at a dairy processing facility in Amarillo, Texas, was cracking and delaminating across 1,500 sq ft. The failure compromised the cleanable surface required in dairy production. USDA and SQF compliance — and the risk of citations — were on the line. The replacement also had to stand up to harsh detergents, constant vehicular traffic, and repeated temperature shifts.

Tufco replaced the failed epoxy with 1,500 sq ft of seamless Tufcrete urethane — installed by our own crews with all work completed in just 2 days. No drain work was required.

The Solution

Tufco’s own W-2 crews — no subcontractors, no “certified installers” — removed the failed epoxy, prepared the substrate, and installed 1,500 sq ft of Tufcrete Urethane Flooring. The existing drains remained in place, with no drain work required.

The result is an impervious, seamless floor that holds up to the harshest detergents, constant vehicular traffic, and temperature shifts — supporting the cleanability and durability required in a USDA- and SQF-regulated dairy environment. All work was completed in 2 days, start to finish.
